Biography >>>
Tim Pritchard is a dynamic 23 year old from North East
Lincolnshire, England. Tim has just finished a his fourth year at
the University of Teesside, where he studied for three years for
a Degree in Creative Visualisation.
The Degree course introduced Tim to many disciplines of
computer generated imagery including 3D modelling and
animation, along with more traditional techniques of animation
and visual design. He gained his degree and then progressed
on to study for a Masters Degree in Creative Multimedia.
The Creative Multimedia Degree was much more technologically
internet based, and focused on interactive applications and small
file formats. This would have inhibited most people wanting to
persue a career in the 3D visual effects industry, but Tim used this
course, and tailored it to his requirements. Tim used this internet
based course to research into the use of 3D on the internet. He found
that this was a technology in its infancy, but something with so much
potential, and over the year realised that there was about to be an explosion
of 3D down through the majority of the viewable internet. Some of Tim's research
and findings can be viewed in the 'Web' section of the this website.
After University, Tim returned home and is currently working for HBP Systems Ltd, primarily an account software reseller based in Scunthorpe. Tim heads the web design department, running along side e-commerce and bespoke internet development, and also takes care of anything image based for the HBP Systems Group Plc.
At the moment, Tim is devoting all his spare time to his side projects including starting his own digital art and visualisations company under the name of '
Zahir~Insignia', the work of which can be seen on this website.
'
Zahir~Insignia' creates stunning limited edition artwork, but is also available to design websites and create flyers, and one off special edition artwork. In the 'Web' section of this site, a portfolio of websites can be viewed. The majority of these were created for HBP Systems, but have solely been designed by Tim Pritchard.
Out of work and aside from all other ventures, Tim enjoys playing the guitar and drums, and is desperatly trying to set up a band. His other interest lie in film and computer gaming, and he ultimatly aspires to work in the film industry as a 3D special effects artist.
